MORE INFORMATION

The Makita DUC256CZ Brushless LXT Chainsaw is a cordless top handle chainsaw, powered by 2 x 18V Li-ion batteries in series (not supplied), to supply energy to the powerful 36V DC motor drive system. The efficient brushless motor provides excellent cutting performance equivalent to 30cc class engine chainsaws.

For user safety, there is an auto power-off function, electric chain brake and kickback brake. The metal spike bumper firmly grips the workpiece to provide more control, making cutting easier. Fitted with a variable speed trigger, it also has a torque boost mode that raises the current limit temporarily for faster cutting of thicker branches. Captive nuts prevent loss of nut when removing sprocket cover to replace guide bar or saw chain.

To be used by trained tree surgeons only!

Supplied as a Bare Unit - No Battery or Charger.

Specification:

Bar Length: 25cm
Chain Speed: 0-20m/s.

Makita, the foremost manufacturer of power tools in the world. With 100 years' experience, our products are lauded the world over for both their performance and quality. Makita manufactures its tools in plants across the globe, from its headquarters in Japan to here, in the UK. Our Telford manufacturing plant is the only full-production facility for power tools in the UK and has been successfully running construction on many of our top line cordless power tools since 1991.

Makita's acquisition of Dolmar in 1991 has also meant that we have one of the strongest histories in the Outdoor Power Equipment market and the plant in Germany constantly delivers tools worldwide to the highest quality.

At the heart of our manufacturing process is the belief that for a good tool you need a good motor, and Makita makes every effort to make sure our motors are of the best quality. We source the absolute best raw materials and components in order to build the most powerful and efficient motors we can imagine.

Premium grade steel is used to produce armature shafts and gears, and only steel of the highest grade is used, whilst high grade magnetic copper wire goes into each and every one of our tools to ensure superior current flow whilst withstanding extreme temperatures. Get ARMD with Makita now.
